PVQuick AI Hub Guidelines
Trial run: PVQuick is currently in a trial run.
By signing in to PVQuick AI Hub (pvquick.net) with your PVQuick account, you agree to these guidelines.
- Post in the right board. Problems and ideas about PVQuick go to “PVQuick software”; questions on PV design, equipment, standards, O&M and markets go to “General PV discussion”.
- AI answers are for reference only. Content marked “AI” is generated by AI and may be wrong; senior PV experts and the PVQuick team follow up.
- Answers are personal opinions. Answers from experts and other users are personal professional opinions. They do not replace a formal engineering design, review or sign-off; check them before using them in a project.
- Be civil and stay on topic. No abuse or personal attacks, no advertising or self-promotion, no fabricated facts (faked screenshots or data, posing as someone else or as the PVQuick team), nothing illegal, infringing or unrelated to PV. Bug reports, bad reviews, saying a result is wrong and comparisons with other software are all welcome; they are never removed or penalised for that (posts that review PVQuick are shown after a moderator has looked at them; see rule 7).
- Protect privacy and trade secrets. Do not post other people’s personal data, client names, contract prices or unpublished project data; check screenshots before you post them.
- Your content stays yours. You keep the rights to what you post. By posting it here you agree that it is shown to other AI Hub users and that PVQuick may use it to improve the software.
- Screening, moderation and blocking. Every post is first screened by AI. Obvious advertising and scams are hidden at once (new accounts are also silenced until a moderator checks). Posts that review PVQuick (positive or negative), posts that mention the poster’s own company or products, and posts that may break these guidelines are also hidden until a moderator has looked at them, normally within 24 hours; negative reviews and criticism are shown as long as they follow rule 4. Confirmed breaches are removed and the author is silenced (can read but not post): 3 days the first time, 7 days the second, 30 days the third; the fourth time the account is suspended. Accounts that only advertise or scam are suspended at once; going off topic gets a reminder the first time. Each action states the reason and how long it lasts, and the person is notified. To appeal, email support@pvquick.com within 7 days; a moderator who was not involved reviews it.
- Points and contribution (pilot). Points are spent in the PVQuick app: 1 to see/download a report (once per report; changed inputs make a new report); 10 for one more project. Earn them: 10 on sign-up; +1 for a post the AI judges useful (up to 3 a week); +5 when the team accepts your problem or idea; +5 when the team confirms your answer as the solution. Every point earned (except the sign-up points) also adds 1 contribution, which never goes down (except for proven cheating) and sets your title (10 Contributor, 15 Active, 40 Senior, 100 Distinguished); at the full release, 15, 40 and 100 contribution bring 1, 2 and 3 months of Pro, and after that anyone with contribution gets a discount on Pro (details at the full release). Points cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. Points from posts removed under these guidelines are taken back, and each confirmed breach costs 5 more points (down to 0); proven cheating clears both points and contribution and brings 30 days of silencing. This is a pilot: the rules may change (see the announcements on AI Hub). Free months of Pro are settled on your contribution on release day, one account per person, and checked by the team first; farmed or spam posts do not count.
